I know there are a lot of us that are brand junkies. I will admit there are some things that I do not compromise on. My cornflakes have to be Kellogg’s brand, but for the most part I try to be pretty flexible. Being brand loyal can become very costly. There are lots of manufacturers that have been raising prices; hence opening yourself up to other brands can be a big money-saver. In some cases the off- brand is almost identical to the name brand and can be up to 20-75% less than the name brand. I recently purchased dishwashing detergent with a brand I have never heard of, the label said that it was comparable to Cascade. So I purchased and used it, it worked wonderfully. I paid only 1.24 for what otherwise would have cost me close to $7 dollars for the name brand. Talk about a tremendous savings!!!!! Take a chance and try an off brand product and see how much you may like it.
Don’t fret, if you are one who likes to buy organic products, most major chain grocery stores now offer store brand organics like Randall’s, Kroger, H.E.B, Aldi’s and so many more. Happy Savings & Happy Health!!
