Range of motion

Physical fitness is extremely important. Before working on getting fit, its important to work on our range of motion. Range of motion is the full range that your joints have the potential to move. For example, due to years of not stretching or injury some people may notice they have trouble bending over and touching their toes without bending their knees or extending their arms upwards without bending their elbows. My grandmother has been and avid gardener since I can remember. One day while sitting on my grandmother’s porch with a few people, someone complained about their knees and another about their hips.
